Professional, student and amateur artists and craftspersons ages 18 and older may submit up to two original new or recent works based on the exhibition theme. Not all entries are guaranteed acceptance. Composition and subject matter are open. All works must be wired and framed (no glass). Plexiglas is optional. A limited number of 16-by-20-inch wired frames without Plexiglas may be available on loan for white-matted pieces. All free-hanging wall works must include appropriate hanging hardware such as wires, rods or hooks.
Each submission must include a label with the artist’s name, address, phone number, email, title of the work and price, if applicable.
There is no entry fee. Works may be offered for sale. A reception will be held during the exhibition.
Entries are due Tuesday, May 5, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Art Gallery in the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. The exhibition will be on view May 11–June 18.
